Console Collection
Video game consoles are a “relatively new” topic for me, too. My first console was a used Sony PlayStation that I got quite a while ago. My first new console was the Nintendo Wii in 2009, followed by the Nintendo Switch in 2018. Since I’ve always been interested in technology—though I used to be more of a PC gamer—I started collecting game consoles as well. For me, it’s primarily about the technology and not the games—although the games are, of course, part of the experience.
One of my goals is to own the top 10–25 games in their original versions for all my consoles. I'm still a long way from achieving this goal, and I'll probably always be, given how prices are trending right now 🙂
The menu is intentionally not arranged alphabetically; rather, it is intended to reflect the order in which the devices were released and is therefore sorted by year of release. It also includes handheld devices.
