Nach etwas z\u00f6gern hatten wir uns dann doch entschlossen uns auf den Weg zu machen und die Tagestour in Angriff zu nehmen. Wir wollten an diesem Tag den Ring of Kerry abfahren und fuhren erst Mal nach Killorglin. Kurz nach dem Ort machten wir nochmal Halt und beratschlagten uns nochmal. Es gab die einstimmige Entscheidung an diesem Tag nicht mehr weiterzufahren, da es zu gef\u00e4hrlich und keine Wetterbesserung in Sicht war.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nach unserer R\u00fcckkehr nach Killarney und uns wieder etwas w\u00e4rmer wurde, machten wir erst Mal Pause im ersten Pilspub in der N\u00e4he des Hotels. Da sich hier der Regen nun etwas in Grenzen hielt machten wir uns nach einer St\u00e4rkung auf den Weg zu der Burg in Killarney &#8222;Ross Castle&#8220;. Die Festung liegt am See Lough Leane und lag fr\u00fcher auf einer Insel. Die Burg d\u00fcrfte aus dem sp\u00e4ten 15. Jahrhundert stammen\u00a0war der Stammsitz des O&#8217;Donoghue-Clans. Es gibt F\u00fchrungen durch die Anlage und man kann mit Booten zu zwei kleinen Inseln fahren. Wirklich empfehlenswerter Ausflug (und das obwohl es geregnet hatte).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nach einem ausf\u00fchrlichen Spaziergang um die halbe Insel traten wir den R\u00fcckweg diese Mal mit einer Pferdekutsche an. Immerhin ein PS! So mussten wir die ca. 4 km nicht wieder zu Fu\u00df gehen und wurden direkt vor dem Hotel abgeliefert (Kosten ca. 40 \u20ac).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nach diesem kulturellen und anstrengenden Ausflug besuchten wir abends wieder unser &#8222;Stamm&#8220; Pub in Killarney und hofften auf besseres Wetter am n\u00e4chsten Tag.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--
