It was developed by the indie studio <strong>BitBeamCannon<\/strong>, whose team includes pixel-art veterans such as Michael Parent and Corey Annis. For the technical implementation, they brought in support from <strong>Neofid Studios<\/strong> \u2013 the creators of <em>Demons of Asteborg<\/em> \u2013 and released the game in cooperation with <strong>PixelHeart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kickstarter campaign in the autumn of 2023 quickly became a success, securing a release across multiple platforms: Mega Drive, Neo Geo, and PC. Each platform even features its own exclusive character\u2014a real treat for collectors and fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A classic fantasy setting with unique quirks<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The story is set in the fantasy world of <strong>Nnar<\/strong>, which has been overrun by the aggressive Zverkin armies. As the knight <strong>Elrik Ironfist<\/strong>, the player acquires a magical artifact\u2014the titular <strong>DaemonClaw<\/strong>\u2014and must fight their way through several regions to defeat the invaders' commanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this endeavor, the hero has at their disposal not only raw strength but also various magical abilities. Additionally, a <strong>Steam key<\/strong> is included, which also unlocks the PC version. The <strong>Neo Geo version<\/strong> is limited to 300 copies for the AES and was also released for the MVS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">All versions are <strong>region-free<\/strong> and run on both PAL and NTSC devices. The visual presentation and the music, in particular, received frequent praise. The combat system, with its tactical possibilities, was also well received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">There was some scattered criticism regarding the <strong>high difficulty<\/strong>\u2014even on lower settings\u2014as well as the relatively <strong>short runtime<\/strong> of the main campaign.
