This versatile add-on is sold via the small online shop <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/retrocomp.cz\/eshop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">retrocomp.cz<\/a><\/strong> and produced only in <strong>limited quantities<\/strong>. It is compatible with the <strong>Sharp MZ-800<\/strong> and <strong>MZ-1500<\/strong>, and\u2014with some limitations\u2014the <strong>MZ-700<\/strong> as well. At the heart of the board lies an STM32F429, a Cortex-M4 core running at 180 MHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The price is <strong>\u20ac140 (including shipping)<\/strong>\u2014not exactly cheap, but the <strong>feature set<\/strong> on offer is impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What can the Unicard do?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u2714 Easily load <strong>MZF\/MZT files<\/strong> from a <strong>microSD card<\/strong><br>\u2714 <strong>Emulation<\/strong> of Sharp expansions such as <strong>floppy disk drive, Quick-Disk, RAM disk<\/strong><br>\u2714 <strong>Ports<\/strong>: <strong>VGA output, USB, RS-232, Ethernet, PS\/2, audio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">An adapter board is required for the <strong>MZ-700<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">With the <strong>MZ-800<\/strong> the <strong>VRAM should be expanded to 32 KB<\/strong> (see my article on the computer).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">To get started, I recommend downloading the <strong>demo disk from sharpwiki.cz<\/strong> and copying it to a <strong>microSD card<\/strong>.
