{"id":31426,"date":"2025-01-10T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jungsi.de\/?p=31426"},"modified":"2026-04-02T22:46:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T20:46:41","slug":"megarom-t-2-thomson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jungsi.de\/en\/megarom-t-2-thomson\/","title":{"rendered":"Megarom T.2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leider ist es nicht ganz so einfach, bei den <em>Thomson-Rechnern<\/em> an Software zu kommen und diese dann verwenden zu k\u00f6nnen. Ich habe zwar bereits das <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jungsi.de\/en\/sddrive-thomson\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"23353\">SD-Drive<\/a><\/em> testen k\u00f6nnen, bin aber bei meinen Recherchen zu den franz\u00f6sischen Rechnern \u00fcber das Projekt<em> Megarom T.2 <\/em>gestolpert. Da es zu dem damaligen Zeitpunkt nicht verf\u00fcgbar war, habe ich mich auf die Warteliste setzen lassen. Nachdem ich die Hardware Anfang 2024 erhalten habe, will ich nun dar\u00fcber berichten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Beste an dieser Cartridge ist auf jeden Fall, dass diese mit allen Rechnern der TO-Familie kompatibel ist. Der wiederbeschreibbare Flash-Speicher ist 2 MB gro\u00df und in 128 B\u00e4nke mit je 16 KB aufgeteilt. Ebenso ist es mit der kompletten kommerziellen Software kompatibel, die im Memo 7 Format existiert. Daneben kann es mit dem Rechner selbst programmiert werden und es wird bei <em>TO8\/8D\/9\/9+<\/em> Hot-Plug unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein gro\u00dfer Pluspunkt ist, dass die Cartridge bereits mit Programmen gef\u00fcllt ist, sodass sofort gestartet werden kann. F\u00fcr meinen <em>TO7-70<\/em> sind 76  und f\u00fcr den <em>TO8<\/em> 110 Programme bereits im Flash-Speicher hinterlegt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Die Benutzung ist denkbar einfach:<br>Cartridge einlegen und Rechner einschalten. Durch Dr\u00fccken der Taste \u201e0\u201c wird es gestartet. Das <em>Megarom<\/em> erkennt automatisch den Rechner und zeigt eine Liste der verf\u00fcgbaren Software an, die in Spiele, Utilitys und Demos unterteilt ist. Falls ein Update zur Verf\u00fcgung steht, wird dies entweder \u00fcber Disketten oder eine serielle Verbindung auf die Hardware \u00fcbertragen. Die Bedienung ist super einfach und die Auswahl an Spielen und anderer Software ist mehr als gelungen.
