Aus Kostengr\u00fcnden wurde weder dem Amiga 1200<\/em> noch dem Amiga 500<\/em> eine Echtzeituhr “spendiert”. Die deutschen Entwickler von Individual Computers haben dagegen etwas unternommen. Da ich die Turbokarte ACA1232<\/em> dieser Firma benutze, habe ich mir ein RTC-Modul bestellt (gibt es u.\u00a0a. bei Vesalia)\u00a0\u2013 Kosten: 19,90 \u20ac. Dazu wird noch eine Knopfzelle mit 3\u00a0V\u00a0\u2013 die CR1220 (ca. 5\u00a0\u20ac)\u00a0\u2013 ben\u00f6tigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diese Batterie kommt mit der Plus-Seite nach oben in den entsprechenden Halter auf der kleinen Platine.
Das Modul kann auch auf dem A1200<\/em> Mainboard installiert werden. Auf einem anderen Uhrenport kann es nicht verwendet werden. In der Anleitung, die der Platine beiliegt, sind Bilder abgedruckt, die deutlich machen, wie das Modul auf die Stiftleisten aufgesteckt werden muss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr die Funktion der Uhr wird keine Software ben\u00f6tigt. Das Betriebssystem bindet die Uhr automatisch ein. Bei Kickstart\/WB 1.3 oder niedriger werden die Shell-Kommandos setclock<\/em> and setdate<\/em> verwendet. Bei Kickstart\/WB 2.0 wird einfach unter Prefs das Programm Time zum Einstellen von Datum und Uhrzeit verwendet.
Sollte die Echtzeituhr doch nicht erkannt werden, gibt es den Befehl setclock reset<\/em>. Eine praktische und g\u00fcnstige Erweiterung f\u00fcr den Amiga 1200<\/em>, die einfach zu installieren ist. Danach gibt es auch mit diesem Rechner keine Ausrede mehr, die Zeit vergessen zu haben. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n
