Das A500-IDE ist ein einfaches IDE-Interface f\u00fcr den Amiga 500. Es ist eine Platine f\u00fcr den Slot auf der linken Seite des Rechners. Auf das Interface wird dann noch ein IDE-CF-Adapter aufgesteckt. In dem P\u00e4ckchen, das ich bei dieser Lieferung erhalten habe, war eine CF-Karte, auf der schon etwas Software enthalten ist, sowie eine Boot-Diskette. Diese wird zum Starten zwingend ben\u00f6tigt. Es kann nicht von der CF-Karte gebootet werden. Der CF-Adapter muss nicht extra mit Strom versorgt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In der relativ d\u00fcnnen Anleitung steht, dass der Jumperblock wie folgt eingestellt sein muss:
1 – off; 2 – off; 3 – on; 4 – off; 5 – off; 6 – on; 7 – off; 8 – on; 9 – off
Was die Jumper genau bedeuten und was hier noch alles eingestellt werden kann, darauf wird nicht eingegangen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Der Bootvorgang geht schnell und ist unspektakul\u00e4r, danach wird die Diskette (Sicherheitskopie machen) nicht mehr ben\u00f6tigt. Ebenso sollte von der CF-Karte mit z. B. Win32Diskimager<\/a> eine Kopie angefertigt werden. Die Inhalte der CF-Karte k\u00f6nnen unter anderem mit WinUAE<\/a> ge\u00e4ndert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/strong>
Im Moment bin ich mir noch nicht ganz sicher wie dieses Interface sinnvoll genutzt werden kann. Da keine Speichererweiterung integriert ist, ist die Nutzung von z.B. WHD Load<\/a> nicht sinnvoll. Es k\u00f6nnen z.B. mit den Tools auf der CF-Karte ADF-Dateien erstellt und geschrieben werden. Ich denke es ist besser etwas mehr Geld zu investieren und sich eine vielseitigere L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr den A500 zu besorgen.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
