At that time, I started actively collecting devices that had accompanied me during my childhood and youth—or ones that I could never afford to own back then, but had always wished for.
Then, in 2005, *World of Warcraft* arrived. Anyone who experienced the early years of that game firsthand knows this much: there was precious little time left for anything else. My collecting went on hiatus for quite a while.
In 2012, I launched this blog—initially as a personal notebook for whatever happened to be occupying my mind at the time. By 2013, however, the true focus of this site began to crystallize with increasing clarity: Retro. I started writing down my experiences with vintage hardware and software, and quickly realized that I didn't want to do this just for myself, but also for others who might be wired in the exact same way.
Since then, *Jungsi’s Corner* has served as my little digital home for bits, bytes, and nostalgia.

Why this blog?

Because it is wonderful to preserve things. Because old hardware tells stories. And because there are people out there who can get just as excited about a 40-year-old home computer as I do.
I write here whenever something truly captures my interest—covering games, hardware, accessories, and everything that goes with them. This also means that sometimes articles appear in quick succession, while at other times things are quieter. Life, other projects, and—quite pragmatically—my budget all play a role in this. New hardware and games cost money, and I only buy what truly appeals to me.
In short: You won’t find a professional blogger with an editorial calendar here, but rather someone with a genuine passion for the subject.

Nice that you're here!

If you have a soft spot for old computers yourself, feel free to browse through the collection and the posts.
